Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program
Operations and Maintenance ("O&M") is used by
building owners and managers to describe the routine work necessary
to operate and maintain a building with or without the presence of
lead-based paint.
The procedures which make up the O&M Program will
help you to:
-
Control the creation of lead-contaminated dust;
-
Control the scattering (dispersion) of
lead-contaminated dust;
-
Effectively clean up lead-contaminated dust and
debris created by the work being done; and
-
Protect all workers’ health and safety.
Whether your property is a single-family home or
multi-family residential or public and commercial buildings, RCS,
Inc. can create an O&M Program for your building / complex which
includes all Work Practices and General Procedures to maintain the
health and safety of all workers and occupants. RCS, Inc. prepares
all required environmental documentation and provides a liaison
between developers and regulators, augmenting RCS, Inc.'s in-house
staff with specialized consultants, as necessary. RCS, Inc. also
updates current O&M Programs when lead-based paint status changes
(i.e. removed or enclosed), new survey results are obtained, or as
additional training is completed.
