Carrier Qualification and Review


RCS, Inc. recognizes that the carriers that transport a company's goods are a direct link to the customer. These carriers should regard themselves as a partnership and not just a vendor. RCS, Inc. can assure that they adhere to the level of excellence that RCS, Inc.'s clients demand. RCS, Inc. is able to perform an audit to evaluate the carrier according to the following criteria: safety, quality assurance, driver hiring and training practices, freezable protection, dispatch, and hazardous materials emergency response procedures. Prior to an audit, RCS, Inc. would send a "Carrier Qualification" package to immediately identify some of the carrier's problem areas. RCS, Inc. will also review the company's shipping records. RCS, Inc. believes that auditing should be a continual process to improve the deficiencies discovered. The carrier would be required to submit quarterly progress reports to RCS, Inc. so that RCS, Inc. may help the carrier understand and adhere to RCS, Inc.'s client's standards.
