EPCRA - Emergency Planning / Community Right-to-Know

EPA  requirements under 40 CFR §355.30 apply to any facility where there is an amount of any extremely hazardous substance equal to or in excess of its threshold planning quantity, or designated, after public notice and opportunity for comment, by the Commission or the Governor for the State in which the facility is located. The owner or operator shall provide notification to the Commission that it is a facility subject to the emergency planning requirements. Such notification shall be provided within sixty days after a facility first becomes subject to the requirements 40 CFR §355.30. In addition Owners or operators of facilities that have hazardous chemicals on hand in quantities equal to or greater than set threshold levels must submit either Tier One or Tier Two Forms by March 1. RCS has an experienced staff who can assist facilities by submitting these plans on time and accurately.
