Jobs at RCS

OSHA at 29 CFR 1910.178(l) requires forklift training. The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation. Forklift accidents result in many unnecessary injuries and deaths per year. In addition, companies suffer financial loss with damaged products and equipment. State and Federal laws require training for all forklift operators to avoid such costly mishaps.

RCS offers a comprehensive Forklift training program that meets the requirements of all State and Federal laws. RCS trainers will provide your employees with proper Forklift Training, which includes both classroom and hands-on instruction. Site-specific Training can be completed at your facility or at our Mid-West Training Center located in Columbus, Ohio.

The training encompasses all aspects of using a forklift. The course includes:

  • Forklift operating instructions
  • Warnings, and precautions
  • Forklift controls and instrumentation
  • Engine and/or motor operation
  • Steering and maneuvering
  • Visibility
  • Fork and attachment adaptation
  • Limitations
  • Vehicle capacity and stability
  • Vehicle inspection and maintenance requirements
  • Refueling and/or charging
