Personal
Protective Equipment
Employees
must be trained about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will be
applicable to the job that they are required to perform. PPE may
include but is not limited to, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, face
shields, gloves, and earplugs. Employees, who are trained on PPE and
PPE issues, will be safer when performing their specific jobs. Using
the proper PPE will reduce the risk of injuries to employees throughout
the facility and increase facility compliance. OSHA governs these
regulations and they can be found at 29 CFR Subpart I.
