Total
Compliance Management (TCM)
An RCS
Philosophy
Total Compliance
Management (“TCM”) is a philosophy developed by RCS, Inc. over the past
fourteen (14) years which is used to achieve the safest and most
compliant manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing facility. It is
based on the facility's ability to accomplish total compliance with all
regulations that may be imposed on an operation. TCM total ratings for
a Non-Hazardous Manufacturing sites are based on site exposure, product
frequency, and the type of product that each site warehouses, and how
many employees are on site. For sites considered “closed-container”
facilities the highest comparative TCM score that could be achieved
would be an 80.04. Simply explained if the score were a grade, 80.04
would equal 100%. Each facility audited by RCS, Inc. is given a score
based on a total possible score of "100” based on an overall program
for all RCS, Inc. clients. Please note that only facilities who are
labeled a major manufacturer of hazardous materials may achieve a
possible score of “100”. RCS Inc. annually awards the facility with the
highest TCM score with recognition for their outstanding compliance
effort.
TCM is a
philosophy that requires a facility to continually review and improve
all plans, policies, and procedures, as well as prohibit all unsafe
health and safety situations. The appearance of the facility must
improve slightly and management must continually improve policies and
procedures to achieve Total Compliance Management.
