SWPPP (Storm
Water
Pollution
Prevention Plan - SWP3)
The
US Environmental Protection Agency
(US EPA), under 40 CFR
§122.44 (s)(1)(iii), requires construction site operators to
develop and implement a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
(SWP3) for storm water discharge associated with small construction
activities. A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan includes site
descriptions, descriptions of appropriate control measures, copies of
approved State, Tribal, or local requirements, maintenance procedures,
inspection procedures, and identification of non-storm water
discharges. RCS will work with contractors and developers to create a
SWP3 to bring sites into or to maintain compliance.
